Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer – Mobile App at Arc’teryx responsible for directing the development direction and technical health of a medium-sized product area, becoming a subject matter expert, deeply understanding systems, mentoring teammates, conducting code reviews, and delivering high-quality mobile solutions. The role requires proficiency in TypeScript/NodeJS and React Native, experience with Swift/Kotlin, NoSQL databases, OAuth 2.0, cloud/CI/CD, and a strong emphasis on collaboration, documentation, performance tuning, and contributing to architecture and standards. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years relevant experience with full stack development in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Proficiency in TypeScript and NodeJS
- Expert in React Native, and comfortable with Swift/Kotlin
- Experience with transactional and NoSQL databases
- Proficient in automated testing and unit tests
- Experience with OAuth 2.0 and headless solutions
- Experience with cloud providers, containers, and CI/CD
- Knowledge of Micro Services concepts and architecture
- Experience with CDN, Web Servers, Load balancers
- Strong communication, problem solving, and documentation skills
- Proactive in identifying root causes and solutions
- Ability to work with non-tech stakeholders and align with leadership practices
- 5+ years of relevant experience and Senior level proficiency
