Job Summary
Join Mithrl as a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, build, and maintain core product features across frontend and backend. You will own end-to-end feature development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate user needs into technical solutions. Required skills include strong full-stack engineering experience with Python and React, proficiency in Django, and experience with GraphQL APIs. A successful candidate will have over 7 years of experience, and possess strong problem-solving skills and a product-oriented mindset.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong full-stack engineering experience with Python and React in production environments
- Proficiency in Django for building backend APIs, services, and data-intensive systems
- Strong experience building modern frontend applications using React
- Experience designing and working with GraphQL APIs
- Experience designing and working with scalable systems, databases, and data-intensive applications
- Strong understanding of system design, software architecture, and engineering best practices
- Experience shipping and owning production systems used by real customers
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Strong problem solving skills and a product-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Desired Qualifications
- Experience building products for technical or scientific users
- Familiarity with data-heavy, analytics, or ML-enabled platforms
- Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience mentoring or leading other engineers
- Exposure to biotech, life sciences, or R&D workflows
