Job Summary
Design, develop, test, deploy, and support backend services for payment, settlement, reconciliation, and integration platforms. Lead medium to large engineering initiatives by managing technical dependencies and collaborating with Product, Business, Risk, Compliance, and Engineering teams. Build integrations with payment channels, settlement systems, and enterprise services while driving quality through automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and observability. Utilize approved AI-assisted engineering tools to enhance productivity and maintain security standards. Deliver reliable, scalable, and compliant solutions aligned with business requirements and regulatory audit standards.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of software development experience in enterprise or mission-critical systems
- Strong expertise in Java, Kotlin, JVM-based technologies, OR TypeScript/Node.js
- Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and Kafka or similar technologies
- Strong knowledge of SQL databases, cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills
