Job Summary
Design and develop complex, business-critical data pipelines using tools like Databricks, Spark, and Airflow to process global clinical datasets. Collaborate daily with oncologists, clinicians, and product leaders to translate their challenges into technical solutions that expand Deep Learning and LLM-powered extraction capabilities. Contribute to team roadmaps while building European engineering teams and fostering a culture of empathy and innovation within Flatiron Health's oncology ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
- 4-8 years of relevant professional experience
- experience with agile development environments using object-oriented programming languages (e.g. Python, C#, SQL)
- experience working with cloud platforms like AWS and data warehouse solutions like Snowflake
- experience with data processing and orchestration tools such as Databricks, Spark, Ray, DBT, Prefect, and/or Airflow
- fluent in English
Desired Qualifications
- experience working in healthcare in Germany or exposure to healthcare-related standards like HL7
- hold a Bachelors, Masters, and/or Ph.D. in computer science or a related field
- experience in infrastructure, devops, or security engineering
- conversational in German
