Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer responsible for applying SSAD principles to design scalable, reliable, and performant software systems, mentoring team members, and leading efforts across code development, security, deployment, and testing. Responsibilities include designing CI-CD pipelines, conducting code reviews, ensuring security standards, managing vulnerability mitigation, deploying code, performing BAU tasks, and enabling automated testing with unit tests, Veracode static testing, and SonarCube code quality checks. The role emphasizes collaboration with product owners and end users, continuous learning in cyber security, disaster resilience planning, and opportunities for product and people improvements. Minimum qualifications specify a bachelor’s degree in a related field and multiple years of hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, Git, JavaScript, MVC, Oracle/SQL Server databases, Angular, OAuth2, and related tools and practices. The position is based in Buffalo, NY, with in-office work four days per week."
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study
- Five years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Systems Analyst, Model Developer or related occupation
- Five years of experience with ASP.Net, C#, Visual Studio
- Five years of experience with Git and code management software
- Five years of experience with object-oriented programming in C++
- Five years of experience with SQL Server and Oracle databases
- Five years of experience with MVC software design and development
- Five years of experience with JavaScript scripting
- Five years of experience with MS-Access
- Three years of experience with ASP.Net Core, UI tools including Angular, ETL technology including Informatica, and Secure Coding using OAuth2
- Two years of experience with ASP, .Net Core, Angular, Informatica, and OAuth2
