Senior Software Engineer - Low Level C++ - Linux & Cloud Security

Job Summary
Conduct low-level research and design new features for Linux and cloud security agent capabilities using C++23, Rust, and/or Go. Write comprehensive tests to cover new code and architect end-to-end security solutions for complex features with loose problem definitions. Participate in peer code reviews and design reviews while learning new technologies in Linux and cloud workload security domains, such as eBPF. Support customers with issues and requests within the team's domain and attend daily and weekly scrum meetings. Own end-to-end development of new agent capabilities from kernel-level components to cloud-native security features.
Required Qualifications
- Multiple years of experience as a software engineer, developing complex systems in modern C++
- Proficient in Linux OS architecture and internals
- Hands-on experience with Linux low-level development and debugging
- Previous experience working on a production-grade product with a wide-scale deployment
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Linux kernel development or kernel tracing
- Previous experience with eBPF, Linux networking subsystem, security-oriented development
- Hands-on experience with container platforms and orchestrators such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Previous experience with software development in either Rust and/or Go (we have several components in both) or Python
