Job Summary
Develop new features for an enterprise-scale web application using Laravel, Next.js, and PostgreSQL while maintaining the existing production codebase. Lead the migration from MongoDB to PostgreSQL, optimize database queries, and manage cron jobs, queues, and background workers. Collaborate with DevOps to improve deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure scalability. Troubleshoot production issues, participate in architecture discussions, and mentor junior developers. This role focuses on improving complex systems rather than building small applications from scratch. You will work on meaningful products, including AI-powered features and enterprise-scale applications, with opportunities to influence technical decisions and grow into a leadership position.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience
- Strong expertise in Laravel
- Strong experience with Next.js and React.js
- Experience working with PostgreSQL
- Good understanding of MongoDB
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Hands-on experience with Docker
- Experience working on Linux servers
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience working on production applications
- Ability to quickly understand large codebases
- Good communication and teamwork skills
