Job Summary
Build and enhance the Kasada Virtual Machine while optimizing all stages of the compiler chain. Leverage compiler theory and novel obfuscation techniques to invent new methods that prevent attackers from gaining an upper hand. Transform security research proof-of-concepts into practical solutions that strengthen bot defenses. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to perform research and contribute to architecture design discussions for efficient solutions. Communicate highly technical concepts to non-technical audiences and apply strong debugging skills to unknown challenges.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years experience working in a Senior Software Engineering role
- Understanding of compiler architecture
- Experience working with compilers
- Experience with ASTs
- TypeScript / JavaScript experience
- A great ability to communicate highly technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Strong debugging skills and willingness to delve into unknowns
- Understanding of writing user based tests

- Highly desirable Knowledge of browsers including backwards compatibility
- Cybersecurity experience
- Client based testing experience
