Senior Software Engineer – (Java Full Stack)

Job Summary
Independently design and implement full-stack features using React, Angular, Java, Kotlin, or .NET while collaborating with Product Managers and UX designers. Build and consume RESTful APIs, write testable code aligned with engineering standards, and actively participate in code reviews. Troubleshoot production and non-production issues, contribute to root-cause analysis, and apply AI-assisted development tools to improve speed and quality. Use Gradle or Maven for build workflows and maintain predictable cycle times for scoped work. Demonstrate ownership of components without yet owning large systems end-to-end, while proactively communicating progress, risks, and dependencies.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of Bachelor's degree in any area, or any other related discipline
- 6+ years of experience in software or full-stack development
- Strong hands-on experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular
- Solid backend development experience in Java, Kotlin, or .NET
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Proficiency with Git and modern branching workflows
- Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including basic schema design and querying
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
- Familiarity with Gradle or Maven for build and dependency management
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to code quality
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Devin)
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Experience working in a large-scale SaaS or product engineering environment
