Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer for Integration and Test focusing on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and lab automation for Epirus’ RF systems. Responsibilities include developing, testing, and deploying HIL control software; maintaining software hardware abstraction libraries for equipment (Oscilloscopes, VNAs, Signal Generators, DAQs, etc.); scaling production test software; driving architectural decisions; leading capability/feature development of HIL infrastructure; developing user interfaces for technicians; coordinating with hardware and software teams to design test fixtures and automation; developing new test scripts, managing data logging and analysis; coordinating with Manufacturing and Test Hardware teams; and on-boarding lab equipment. Basic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE/CE or related, 5+ years of experience, proficiency in Python and Git, knowledge of C++/Rust/C/Java, and US citizenship with potential security clearance requirements; ITAR compliance is noted. The role is based in Torrance, California. (California salary range stated: $171,000—$194,000 USD.)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering or related
- 5+ years of industry experience
- Proficiency with Python and Git
- Familiar with one of C++, Rust, C, Java
- US Citizen (future U.S security clearance may be required)
