Job Summary
The Senior Software Engineer will join the Medical Device Software team to design, develop, test, and document high-quality medical device software for Insulet products. Responsibilities include implementing unit and UI tests, mentoring junior engineers, evaluating new technologies, and ensuring design compliance with regulatory standards. Candidates should possess strong skills in Swift, software testing, and design principles, with a preference for those with medical device experience and knowledge of wireless protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong expertise in Swift
- Strong knowledge of Combine, Async Await, and FRP
- Strong expertise with Software Testing
- Strong expertise in Software Design principles
Desired Qualifications
- Medical device experience
- Knowledge of Wireless protocols like BLE and NFC
- Hands-on experience with Embedded Systems
- Agile or other software development life cycle concepts
