Job Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Infrastructure teams, you will build scalable systems to power the Databricks platform. Responsibilities include developing and extending the Databricks infrastructure platform, which encompasses multi-cloud systems, managing thousands of Kubernetes clusters, improving software development workflows, and setting standards for engineering processes. You should have a strong background in cloud technologies and distributed systems alongside significant programming experience.
Required Qualifications
- BS (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience writing production code in Java, Scala, Go, C++ or Python
- Passion for building highly scalable and reliable infrastructure
- Experience architecting, developing and deploying large-scale distributed systems at scale
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with cloud APIs (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform)
