Job Summary
Senior SDET to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and end-to-end testing strategies for a remote-first US-based AI startup. You will define test plans across functional, integration, regression, and performance testing, automate critical features and data pipelines, collaborate with engineers and product managers to ensure testability, and advocate for quality across the development process. Proficiency with Selenium/Cypress/JUnit/TestNG and languages such as Python, Go, Java, or JavaScript, plus experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI) is required.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar automation engineering role focused on automation and test frameworks
- Strong proficiency in automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG)
- Programming languages: Python, Go, Java, JavaScript
- Experience defining and executing test plans with a focus on automation and CI/CD
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work remotely in a fast-paced environment
