Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer II responsible for leading advanced software development, translating user requests into effective solutions, contributing to strategic direction and project planning, and performing complex design and bug-fix work within LexisNexis Legal & Professional’s AI-enabled software. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in .NET (C#), strong communication in English and Spanish, proficiency with data models and storage, and experience across Agile or Waterfall methodologies. The role requires collaboration across teams, writing and reviewing detailed specifications, designing complex data models, implementing development best practices, and staying current with new technologies. Location: Mexico City, onsite 2 days/week.
Required Qualifications
- Senior Software Engineer II responsibilities including leading complex research, design, and software development tasks
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Experience with .NET (C#)
- Knowledge of Agile or Waterfall methodologies
- Ability to work across teams and interface with technical stakeholders
- Ability to write and review technical documentation and specifications
