Job Summary
Research team knowledge gaps, compile documented findings, and refine research methodologies. Collaborate with developers to translate product requirements into software designs for moderate-complexity applications, then build console, network service, or web-based applications using robust code with built-in unit testing. Implement and streamline CI/CD processes, manage technical issues and defects, and develop proof-of-concepts to explore product vision. Stay current on technology advancements to inform feature designs and recommend architectural improvements. This role supports the FCC ERF Engineering Team at a critical juncture, requiring self-directed solution design and excellent communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- BS Engineering/Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Expert-level development experience
- 5+ years applied development
- .NET Languages: F# and/or C# (F# preferred), or equivalent project-based experience
- ASP.NET Core Web API services, or equivalent
- SQL Server, or other equivalent RDBMS experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Data Analysis and Prototyping
- Experience with Functional Programming (any language, e.g. F#, OCaml, Haskell, Scala)
- Experience with implementing CI/CD automation (Github Actions, TFS, Jenkins, TravisCI, etc.)
- F#, C# REST APIs, JSON, XML
- HTML, JavaScript, Angular
- MySQL/SQLite/SQL Server/Other Relational Databases
- Web Services (WebAPI, MVC, etc.)
- Unit/Integration Tests (XUnit, etc.)
