Job Summary
Lead technical projects by overseeing design and implementation of key initiatives while collaborating with Product Managers to define scope and timelines. Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, uphold standards via the Technical Authority Group, and mentor team members on hiring and onboarding. Own deliverables by ensuring successful deployment and ongoing support for products and features developed by the team. Play a key role in strategic technical decisions, promoting adoption of new technologies and processes to enhance product functionality and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience with Python and cloud based environments
- Knowledge of agile practices and project management techniques
- Expertise in Cloud Platforms: AWS and GCP
- Expertise in Programming Languages: Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Expertise in Frameworks: Vue.js, Django Rest Framework, Container-based and Serverless architectures
- Expertise in Databases: MongoDB and DynamoDB
- Expertise in DevOps and Monitoring: CircleCI, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Celery, EventBridge and DataDog
- Proven experience in technical leadership or senior software development roles
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to lead diverse teams and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
