Job Summary
Design and implement scalable integration solutions, APIs, and backend services using .NET, Azure, and SQL while supporting the full software development lifecycle. Handle incidents, troubleshoot production issues, and monitor code execution to ensure mission-critical application reliability. Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and partners to translate requirements into technical designs, enforce coding standards, and manage CI/CD deployments across environments. Provide guidance on best practices, document architecture solutions, and report status to management. Work hybrid in Boston, MA, with a bi-weekly office requirement.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience across the software development lifecycle, with a focus on integrations, API development, solution design, build, test, release, and support
- Experience developing and maintaining integration services, APIs, backend services, and enterprise application components
- Strong understanding of application architecture, API design, integration patterns, performance best practices, and platform governance
- Proficiency with integration patterns and technologies, including REST APIs, SOAP services, messaging, databases, authentication, and troubleshooting integration issues
- Strong .NET development experience, including C#, ASP.NET, RESTful services, reusable libraries, and secure, maintainable backend code
- Practical knowledge of Azure services used for application hosting and integration (e.g., App Service, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, API Management)
- Experience with CI/CD and environment promotion for .NET applications, APIs, integration services, and supporting components
- Solid SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server and/or Oracle) including performance tuning basics
- Ability to produce clear technical designs, architecture documentation, API specifications, and operational documentation for integration solutions
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with product, QA, and platform teams throughout delivery
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

- Knowledge of other approaches discussed in the Agile space: XP, Kanban, BDD, TDD
