Job Summary
Scope and implement high-impact technical projects while acting as a decider on technology and architecture choices. Directly contribute to product decisions, write code, and review current development to build customer empathy within the financial software landscape. Mentor future hires, teach engineering practices, and help recruit additional team members as part of the early team. Participate in conversations with customers to gain business experience and contribute to key tradeoff decisions on the product roadmap.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of software engineering in a VC backed startup environment or fast paced technology company with some mentorship responsibilities mixed in
- Experience building backend systems for web and/or mobile applications
- Located and able to work in SF Bay Area (with remote opportunities)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with fintech, data engineering, accounting systems, machine learning and/or 2-sided marketplaces
