Job Summary
Design, construct, test, and debug technical solutions while maintaining compliance with defined engineering standards and the MEDHOST Quality Management System. Provide effort estimates for assigned tasks and recommend process improvements to address system deficiencies. Take full responsibility for implementing project parts, including new initiatives, and resolve high-complexity development issues. Facilitate task prioritizations for junior staff and assist in enforcing development deadlines within a geographically distributed agile environment. Work remotely from Mumbai with Monday-to-Friday shifts from 5:30pm to 2:30am IST.
Required Qualifications
- 8-9 years of commercial product development experience
- Must be proficient in more than one of the following: RPG & CL DB2 SQL SQL Procedure and User Defined Functions
- SOLID principles of objected-oriented programming and design
- Comprehension of different types of testing i.e. unit, system, integration & performance
- Knowledge of architectural and design patterns, core design concepts, unit testing and configuration management best practices
- Understanding of SDLC models
- RDBMS concepts
- Excellent Communication Skills (Written & Verbal)
- Working Independently
- Critical Thinking
- Knowledge of agile software development methods in a geographically distributed environment
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of cross platform development is recommended
