Job Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer within the Billing group at Paddle, you will lead the development of core areas of a new billing platform. Your responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining high-throughput, reliable systems, taking ownership of feature implementation from design to production, and collaborating with multiple teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Essential qualifications include experience with Go, cloud-based environments (AWS), API principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to resolve complex problems.
Required Qualifications
- Development background with Go.
- Strong understanding of the development process - from design through to deployment, maintenance, and day-to-day development.
- Proactively find ways to improve the code and team processes.
- Bias for action and strong customer focus.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience designing and building systems to handle high traffic at scale in a cloud-based environment in AWS.
