Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer in Rugby focused on maintaining and developing frontend and backend of a core security software solution written in NodeJS and AngularJS. Work in sprints within small, self-motivated teams using agile methods to transform customer needs into next generation control and communication products that are cloud connected. Responsibilities include UI/UX wireframe creation, full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment, documentation, stakeholder meetings, and collaboration across teams to ensure product quality and adherence to standards. Desired experience includes UI/UX development with modern frameworks, MVVM architectural understanding, and familiarity with microservices, testing, and CI/CD practices. Hybrid work arrangement is available.
Required Qualifications
- A relevant degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field of study, OR significant relevant experience gained in a professional engineering environment.
- Working knowledge of at least one other high level programming language like C# or C++
- Experience with UI/UX frameworks and frontend technologies (AngularJS, NodeJS)
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Unrestricted Right to Work in the United Kingdom.
