Job Summary
Develop RT embedded software for Gen 4 Tactical Airborne Radar modes and capabilities, contributing across the full software and hardware integration lifecycle. Utilize strong troubleshooting skills to assess issues, support program leads on technical decisions, and mentor engineers on knowledge and expertise. Effectively collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and internal/external stakeholders to drive performance on technical, cost, and schedule metrics. Assist in generating and analyzing system and software requirements and architecture. This role is onsite at Raytheon's El Segundo, CA campus and requires an active Secret clearance with U.S. citizenship.
Required Qualifications
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of 5 years of prior relevant software development experience
- Development experience coding in C/C++/ADA or related languages/tools
- Experience working on UNIX, Linux, Windows, VxWorks or other RTOS
- Experience working in an agile/scrum team hyper-collaborative team environment
- Must be able to obtain 'special access programs' (SAP/SAR) for continuation of employment
- Active and existing security clearance on day 1
Desired Qualifications
- Current Top Secret Clearance
- Experience developing Radar Software applications
- Direct experience with Agile methodologies
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot tool and system operation performance issues
- Experience with large complex systems such as airborne radars
