Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer to own and develop software components for MRWH software platform at GE Healthcare. You will collaborate with product management and architects to understand requirements, design and implement features, apply SDLC and Agile practices, drive build/releases across environments, and build robust testing infrastructure. You will work with global architects to evolve current architecture toward the next-generation design, contribute to performance tuning, and participate in product releases for a global program. Required skills include C++, Java, Angular, Linux, Microservices, Python, Shell scripting, UML/design patterns, and strong problem-solving and communication abilities; relocation or broad remote work is not indicated. The role emphasizes ownership of features from requirements through maintenance in a hybrid work setting based in Bengaluru, India.
Required Qualifications
- B.E or B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering
- 5 to 8 years of experience in design and development of software applications and frameworks
- Proven knowledge of C++, Linux, Java, Angular, Microservices
- Basic programming capabilities in Python, Shell scripting, Linux Kernel (5.x)
- Experience with Agile practices, test design, and automation
- Strong object-oriented design and UML/design patterns
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver independently
- Experience collaborating with technical leadership on multi-generation technology plans
