Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer role in Rugby, United Kingdom, focusing on maintaining and developing both frontend and backend of GE Vernova’s core security software solution written in NodeJS and AngularJS. Work in sprints within small, self-motivated teams using agile methods, collaborating with Product Leadership to determine customer needs and translating them into next-generation control and communication products that are cloud connected. Responsibilities include creating UI/UX wireframe diagrams for stakeholder demonstrations, participating in all phases of software development from requirements to deployment, and producing technical documentation. Desired experience includes UI/UX development with modern frameworks (AngularJS, VueJS, React), full-stack development with NodeJS, knowledge of MVVM, experience with related technologies (C# or C++), familiarity with microservices, testing in isolation, CI/CD, cybersecurity concepts, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal customers. Required Qualifications
- Relevant degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical field of study, OR significant relevant experience in a professional engineering environment.
