Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable web applications on a large-scale cloud platform; take ownership of features from concept through deployment; collaborate with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful product improvements; improve performance, reliability, and scalability; write robust automated tests; contribute to architecture and system design decisions; conduct code reviews and promote best practices; troubleshoot production issues and deliver timely resolutions; explore and apply AI tooling to enhance engineering workflows and delivery speed; requires strong experience with Ruby (essential) and Rails, JavaScript/React/TypeScript, GraphQL or Next.js; experience with AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD via GitHub Actions; interest in AI-assisted development workflows and education tech exposure (LMS/LXP/MOOC) is a plus; the role offers autonomy to shape engineering practices and leverage emerging technologies while maintaining strong fundamentals.
