Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack role focusing on building backend services in Python/Go/Java, delivering React UIs, and developing event-driven microservices with REST/gRPC APIs; strong emphasis on CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, SQL databases, and thorough testing and code reviews in a hybrid work environment (3 days in office per week).
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Proficiency in a backend programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, or similar)
- Hands-on experience building user interfaces with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience working in an event-driven distributed architecture with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis, RabbitMQ)
- Solid understanding of service-oriented architecture and microservices best practices
- Experience consuming and designing RESTful APIs and/or gRPC from both the client and server side
- Ability to identify problems/opportunities, break them down into critical parts, and design scalable solutions
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment strategies
- Experience writing unit and integration tests across the stack
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or ECS
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL
- Strong experience with peer code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback
