Job Summary

Build backend services and APIs that ingest, normalize, and serve telemetry and mission data, design data models for low-latency access, and create operator-facing dashboards that visualize high-rate telemetry under field conditions. Integrate with sensors and embedded systems, ensuring fault tolerance on bandwidth-constrained, unreliable links while setting up automated testing, CI/CD, and observability. Shape technical direction through design docs, architectural reviews, and direct collaboration with hardware teams, supporting field deployments and incorporating operator feedback into rapid iterations. This senior full-stack role at Dominion Dynamics requires 5+ years of production experience in Python and JavaScript, with a focus on data-dense visualization and hardware integration in a high-trust defence environment.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years building and operating production backend and frontend systems
  • solid architectural judgment
  • Strong production experience in Python
  • Strong production experience in JavaScript/TypeScript
  • judgment to write clean, testable, maintainable code
  • Front-end depth building real-time, data-dense interfaces
  • visualization and UX judgment
  • Depth in data: SQL and relational modeling
  • feel for storage and query design under real latency and volume constraints
  • Hands-on experience integrating with hardware or working closely with embedded teams
  • Comfort in ambiguous, forward-deployed settings
