Job Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack at Databricks, you will work on building a robust Data Intelligence Platform that makes data insights simple and accessible. You will design workflows for managing compute clusters, deploy and test data pipelines, and create a seamless user experience for data exploration and dashboarding. The role requires a strong background in web technologies, including over 5 years of experience in both front-end and server-side development, as well as a commitment to customer-driven design. Ideal candidates will bring experience in cloud technologies and distributed systems.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Passion for user experience and design and a deep understanding of front-end architecture
- 5+ years of experience with server-side web technologies (e.g.: Node.js, Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++, Go)
- Good knowledge of SQL
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or VueJs/Ember)
- Experience with cloud technologies, e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes
- Experience developing large-scale distributed systems
