Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack at Skylo in Bangalore, India. You will contribute to design, architecture, and implementation of Skylo’s Connectivity Platform, building high-throughput data pipelines for network and system telemetry, designing distributed microservices, and developing a web portal with a focus on data visibility dashboards. You’ll work across backend APIs, database modeling, and frontend interfaces using modern frameworks (React or Angular), while collaborating on observability, security, and scalable cloud architectures using Python/Java/Go, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and GCP. This role emphasizes building resilient cloud services that enable satellite-enabled connectivity across terrestrial and space networks, with 5-8 years of relevant experience and a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years of professional software development experience with a focus on object-oriented programming and distributed microservices
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go
- Experience designing, building, and scaling data pipelines
- Strong frontend development experience with React.js or Angular.js
- Experience with REST API and gRPC design
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)
- Experience with observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus)
- Ability to lead technical discussions and communicate effectively
