Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack on Charlie Health's Revenue Engine team. Responsible for delivering high quality, performant features using React, Python, and PostgreSQL across patient-facing financial tools and internal revenue-operations products. Set patterns for the growing team, leverage AI tools to accelerate development, collaborate with product and design to iterate solutions, identify bottlenecks and improve engineering processes, mentor and share knowledge, and participate in on-call rotation to ensure clients can access care. Note: candidates located within 75 minutes commuting distance of NYC office are expected to come to office 4 days/week.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience developing user facing web applications that deliver meaningful business value
- Expertise and hands on production experience with Python and/or Javascript
- Ability to break down big, messy problems into smaller parts with tractable solutions
- Experience contributing to technical tradeoffs with cross-team implications
- Experience developing high quality code leveraging modern AI tooling (e.g., Claude Code)
- Growth mindset and sense of humor; adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation
