Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack responsible for leading end-to-end software development lifecycle across complex systems. Role emphasizes architecture and development of diverse software platforms, mentoring junior engineers, collaborating across cross-functional teams, and driving adoption of best practices. Responsibilities include leading multiple project teams (internal and outsourced), guiding design and implementation, reviewing system designs for standards compliance, delivering actionable feedback to improve product quality and reduce risk, and acting as a technical leader to influence senior stakeholders. Key skills include expertise in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or Golang, strong software architecture and system design capabilities, experience with PostgreSQL, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to leadership. The role is hybrid with an expectation to work 2 days per week from an HPE office in Sunnyvale, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- Strong programming experience in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JS, Python, or Golang
- Proven expertise in software architecture and system design for complex products and solutions
- Experience designing and integrating software systems across multiple platforms
- Solid understanding of web application development
- Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate architectural designs, propose solutions, and influence decision-making at senior levels
Desired Qualifications
- Datadog experience (preferred)
- Mentoring and leading engineers (possible)
- Experience presenting to senior leadership (preferred)
