Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack (Facilitator Success) role focused on building tools that empower facilitators in Charlie Health’s high-acuity virtual behavioral care platform. You’ll develop and deliver high-quality, performant features using React, Python, and PostgreSQL; establish scalable patterns for a growing team; collaborate with product and design to drive data modeling decisions; own and improve engineering processes; mentor and share knowledge across engineering, product, and design; participate in on-call rotations to ensure clients can access care. The role emphasizes enabling clinical staff to focus on care, not clicks, and involves enhancing product workflows, session histories, and playbooks to support group-based care and continuous improvement. Location is NYC with hybrid in-office requirements; total compensation targeted between $170k and $220k per year with benefits for full-time employees.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience developing user facing web applications that deliver meaningful business value
- Expertise and hands on production experience with an application programming language, preferably Python and/or Javascript
- Experience developing high quality code leveraging modern AI tooling (ex: using Claude Code)
- Growth mindset and a sense of humor. You welcome feedback and when you stumble you get back up. You adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and you enjoy fostering an environment that prioritizes fun, learning, and growth
