Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack on the Facilitator Success team at Charlie Health. You’ll build and deliver high-quality, performant features using React, Python, and PostgreSQL to empower group facilitators who lead session-based care and drive measurable improvements in care quality. Responsibilities include data modeling discussions, collaboration with product and design to craft top-notch solutions, identifying engineering bottlenecks and improving processes, mentoring and knowledge sharing across engineering, product, and design, and participating in on-call rotations to ensure clients can access care. The role emphasizes building tools that surface a client’s full care history and context, generate structured session summaries, and develop playbooks/workflows to guide facilitators in real time. Requirements include 4+ years of web application development experience, proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript, strong ability to break down complex problems, experience with AI tooling, and a growth mindset. Note: candidates within 75 minutes of NYC office are expected to come to the office 4 days per week.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience developing user facing web applications
- Experience with Python and/or JavaScript
- Strong problem-solving and ambiguity management
- Experience with AI tooling (e.g., Claude Code)
- Experience contributing to technical tradeoffs
- Growth mindset and collaboration skills
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
- Office location within 75 minutes commuting distance of NYC office (hybrid work)
