Job Summary
Drive the technical evolution of the frontend ecosystem by overseeing a diverse portfolio of web and mobile applications built on shared foundations. Build highly interactive user interfaces and efficient architectures capable of processing vast data volumes without compromising performance across desktop and mobile contexts. Collaborate closely with backend developers to design APIs supporting high-performance requirements while ensuring applications remain responsive during heavy data loads. Own the full frontend delivery lifecycle, including testing, performance optimization, build tooling, and CI/CD practices.
Required Qualifications
- Deep experience building complex Single Page Applications (SPAs) with modern frontend technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, and RxJS
- Strong experience building complex, interactive, or data-rich user interfaces with a focus on performance and usability
- Ability to design scalable UI systems that serve multiple applications and teams
- Experience with micro-frontend architectures
- Hands-on experience in unit and integration testing
- Experience maintaining shared UI component libraries
- Comfortable owning the full frontend delivery lifecycle, including testing, performance optimisation, build tooling, CI/CD, and modern deployment practices
- Ideally experienced across the stack or comfortable reading backend code and understanding how API design impacts frontend performance
- Clear communicator in English who enjoys collaborating with product managers and fellow engineers to solve challenging technical problems
