Job Summary
Senior Frontend Engineer to design, build, and own high-quality web experiences for a two-sided marketplace. You’ll collaborate with engineering leadership, product managers, and designers to deliver responsive, performant, and scalable frontend applications using modern frameworks, primarily React/Vue/Angular, with TypeScript. You’ll lead frontend initiatives, drive code quality, testing, performance, and maintainability, partner with backend engineers to define APIs, and mentor engineers while adopting AI-assisted development where appropriate. This remote-first role operates with a hybrid in Austin, TX, and offers a clear path for growth within a fast-moving, globally distributed team.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a frontend or full-stack software engineer with strong frontend focus
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript
- Experience with modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular)
- Strong understanding of web performance, accessibility, and responsive design principles
- Experience leading projects or major features from concept to production in fast-paced environments
- Hands-on, ownership-driven mindset with interest in leveraging modern tools—including AI-assisted development to improve quality and velocity
- Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, incorporating modern development workflows
