Job Summary
Senior Frontend Platform Engineer to lead a frontend evolution: migrate legacy frontends to modern React/Typescript, expand a shared design system, and build a centralised frontend portal used by multiple teams. Drive architectural standards, build scalable, production-ready software, and mentor engineers while shaping the engineering practices and patterns that power the platform. You will collaborate with product, design, QA, and other engineering teams to deliver high-quality software that improves developer experience and supports millions of users. The role emphasizes platform-level work over feature development, with emphasis on maintainability, performance, design-system expansion, and cross-team collaboration. Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with Typescript and React
- Experience building NodeJS services
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Nice to have GraphQL
- Familiarity with Git
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with AWS or cloud infrastructure
- Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
- Strong front-end fundamentals (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
- Experience mentoring engineers and conducting code reviews
