Job Summary
Senior Front-End Software Engineer (CX Apps) at Collectors, focusing on building polished, performant, and user-centered web experiences across web and mobile surfaces. Lead frontend development using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Svelte, and Next.js to deliver end-to-end customer journeys; collaborate with product, engineering, and design to translate requirements into clean technical designs; troubleshoot data, integration, service, and UI issues in a large distributed codebase; develop and execute unit/integration tests; contribute to technical documentation; and leverage AI tooling (Claude) to accelerate design and implementation while maintaining code quality. Role may require onsite collaboration for teammates within a 1-hour commute of the California remote location, with potential hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience building consumer facing web applications
- 4+ years of experience with React and Next.js
- Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
- Experience with Tailwind CSS
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Comfortable using AI tooling in day-to-day engineering work (e.g., Claude)
