Job Summary
Lead full stack software engineering for Freddie Mac's Multifamily Line of Business digital modernization, driving transformation through modern execution models and agile delivery. Mentor the team by enforcing adoption of Real Agile, TDD, ATDD, stateless design, microservices, containerization, and cloud-native technologies on AWS, EKS, and Docker. Architect solutions using React, JavaScript, Python, Java, and Angular while managing dependencies with vendors and internal teams. Collaborate with business leaders in marketing, HR, legal, and compliance to ensure deliverability and adherence to regulatory mandates.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience engineering awesome solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
- 4 + years of demonstrated experience leading modernized development teams at an enterprise level
- Highly proficient in Full Stack development (React, JavaScript, Python, Java, Angular)
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with Jenkins
- Experience with Cucumber
- Experience with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket)
- Experience with Git
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience with Mongo
- Experience with EKS
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with Openshift
- Ability to analyze system architecture and contribute to design planning
- Technical knowledge of communication channels, deliverability, and compliance
- Experience collaborating with business leaders in marketing, HR, legal, and compliance teams
- Ability to manage dependencies with vendors or internal engineering teams for software delivery
