Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer to architect and implement scalable backend microservices inside Payments, Disbursements, or GRC squads for Félix's fintech platform. In this fully remote role (with a future transition to hybrid), you will help shape the core architecture of the backend, work with Python (Flask/FastAPI), REST APIs, and distributed systems on Google Cloud, Kubernetes, and related tooling, and contribute to security, compliance (KYC/AML), and scalable payment/disbursement workflows. You will mentor junior developers, collaborate with product, operations, and compliance teams, and drive continuous improvement across platform capabilities using data-driven feedback.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience in fintech or related domain
- Experience designing and implementing web services, including REST APIs
- Knowledge of security protocols, compliance standards, and KYC/AML processes
- Experience building and maintaining payment systems, financial disbursement solutions, or compliance-driven platforms is highly desirable
- Excellent collaboration and prioritization skills in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of emerging technologies
