Senior Software Engineer- Finance & Business Systems

Senior Software Engineer, Finance & Business Systems at GiveCampus, embedded across Finance, Engineering, and Operations to build the systems and instrumentation that reveal unit economics, margins, pricing, revenue recognition, and related financial concepts. Responsible for full-stack work from UI to backend, including database tuning, architecture design, and delivering features end-to-end, with automated testing and production support. Collaborates with Finance and Operations leadership, supports system security monitoring, participates in interviewing and onboarding, and contributes to on-call rotation. Requires strong experience with Ruby on Rails (or another mature MVC framework), comfort across the stack (backend, databases, light frontend), experience with React or Vue.js, SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQLite), deployments to Heroku/AWS, and 5+ years of hands-on development. Bonus points for deeper Rails/RSpec expertise, Postgres administration, prior fintech or fundraising platform experience, and startup environment exposure.
