Job Summary
Combine hardware components including a touchscreen tablet, gate controller, and license plate recognition cameras into a plug-and-play unit for parking garages. Enable new access solutions, dynamic rate boards, and self-help tools to improve driver experience and throughput. Develop machine learning models to enhance license plate recognition accuracy for gated parking scenarios. Integrate with the financial platform built on Stripe Connect to streamline payment collection and ensure security. Collaborate with the Ops team to analyze client needs and shape the product roadmap effectively.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience working as a full-stack engineer with a focus on Android & Linux IoT devices, full-stack web development, and cloud technologies
- Exposure to Kotlin/Java and C for IoT development
- Electrical engineering background, or proficiency working with electrical components and devices
- Proficient in Typescript and a strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform including services like Cloud Run, Firestore, Pub/Sub
- Experience with ReactJS 18 and NextJS 13 frameworks
- Backend experience with NodeJS and frameworks like NestJS
- Ability to collaborate and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and clients
- Prior experience leading projects from planning phase through execution, and overseeing other engineers
Desired Qualifications
- knowledge of RFID technology
- Exposure to data visualization with D3.js
- Exposure to third-parties such as Stripe and Twilio
- AI/ML experience with Tensorflow or similar
