Job Summary
Architect and build next-generation event attendee platforms using AI-powered development tools, TypeScript, and React. Design scalable backend APIs and micro frontend components on cloud-native AWS architectures to support millions of users across Salesforce's global brand experiences. Optimize end-to-end data flows, application performance, and security while maintaining high availability for flagship events like Dreamforce. Mentor team members through code reviews and architectural guidance within a hybrid engineering model.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated full-stack capabilities in production environments
- Proven experience leveraging AI-powered development tools (Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc.) to accelerate delivery and improve code quality
- Expertise in TypeScript, React, and Next.js with modern JavaScript and responsive web design
- Development expertise including API design (RESTful and GraphQL), microservices architecture, and distributed systems
- Experience with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, AppSync, API Gateway) and cloud infrastructure
- Experience building component libraries, design systems, and micro frontend architectures
- Strong understanding of web performance optimization and security best practices, with experience in CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring tools (Splunk, New Relic, CloudWatch)
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and take ownership of complex projects under pressure, with strong cross-functional communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with server-less architectures and event-driven systems
- Experience with real-time technologies (WebSockets, Server-Sent Events, GraphQL subscriptions)
- Familiarity with CDN optimization and edge computing (Akamai, CloudFront, Lambda@Edge)
- Experience with A/B testing frameworks and feature flagging systems
- Experience leading technical initiatives across multiple teams
- Track record of driving platform modernization or technical migrations
