Senior Software Engineer - Engineering Productivity

Job Summary
Build, integrate, and maintain tools and infrastructure facilitating internal development and testing while improving build system maintainability and evaluation of new tools. Troubleshoot and resolve systems and network issues, adhering to infrastructure-as-code principles to proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability. Participate in the design and implementation of new systems and infrastructure projects, improving the speed of information back to the development team within build systems and processes. Own projects from definition to deployment, covering all aspects of software development including adding new features, debugging, and fine-tuning code for scalability and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years commercial experience in this space as a DevOps / SRE Engineer
- Solid experience with Jenkins and GitHub
- UNIX / Linux systems administration
- Scripting with Python or Bash or experience at least one high level language such as Go, C++, etc.
- Experience with containerization and container orchestration
- Experience with (CI/CD) orchestration and software configuration management tools
- Ability to work in a fast paced and agile development environment
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Working knowledge/experience with Makefile/make
Desired Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a relevant experience subject
- Experience with monitoring systems
- Experience with relational databases
- Experience with virtualization technologies
- Experience with any of the following: Elasticsearch, InfluxDB, Grafana, Artifactory
- Exposure to FPGA build projects
- Exposure or experience with Vivado (Xilinx)
