Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer to develop and maintain the backend systems of our platform, including APIs, databases, and third-party integrations; collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and tools; ensure security, scalability, and reliability of systems; work on multi-battery device orchestration, capacity planning, and the early stages of automated trading infrastructure; use Flask/Python, AWS, and PostgreSQL; strong problem-solving and communication skills; and contribute to a collaborative, open-minded engineering environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience with a focus on backend engineering
- Proficiency in at least one backend framework (Flask, Django, Ruby on Rails, etc)
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP) and RDBMS (PostgreSQL)
- Designing systems that scale and building highly available services
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Collaborative mindset with openness to feedback
- Experience using AI-based development tooling (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code)
- Ability to make architecture decisions for scale and clarity
