Senior Software Engineer, Embedded Systems

Develop software solutions spanning web applications to embedded Linux and microcontrollers for autonomous system command and control, digital signal processing, and data flow management. Create and maintain code while reviewing designs, documenting user and maintainer guides, and writing automated tests. Support production staff with system preparation and provide field engineering support for R&D, new product testing, and deployed systems. Mentor junior engineers and fluidly communicate specifications and solution spaces when tackling incompletely defined tasks. Collaborate with stakeholders to select minimum viable short-term options that build toward long-term goals. Requires 8+ years of experience, DoD security clearance, and ability to travel for at-sea support or major client milestones.
