Job Summary
Develop RT embedded software for Gen4 Tactical Airborne Radar modes and capabilities, contributing across all phases of the software development lifecycle including SW/HW integration. Utilize strong investigation and troubleshooting skills to assess issues, support program leads on technical decision-making, and mentor other engineers on knowledge and expertise. Effectively collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, internal and external stakeholders, and participate in program and customer meetings to ensure performance on technical, cost, schedule, and quality metrics. Support system and software requirements and architecture generation and analysis as needed.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or Immigration Status Requirements: The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Active and existing security clearance required after day 1
- Must be able to obtain 'special access programs' (SAP/SAR) for continuation of employment
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
- Development experience coding in C/C++/ADA or related languages/tools across phases of SDLC
- Experience working on UNIX, Linux, Windows, VxWorks or other RTOS
- Experience working in an agile/scrum team hyper-collaborative team environment using typical agile oriented tool suite
Desired Qualifications
- Current DoD Secret and Top Secret Clearance
- Experience developing Radar Software applications
- Direct experience with Agile methodologies
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot tool and system operation performance issues
- Experience with large complex systems such as airborne radars
