Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer on the Frontend Web and Experience team responsible for building and maintaining shared JavaScript libraries and UI components, implementing business logic for tool workflows, reviewing JavaScript/TypeScript code, and acting as a tech lead across initiatives. Role emphasizes test-driven development, agile practices, and collaboration to deliver tools that empower workflows and reporting for Disney’s digital content supply chain. Required and preferred qualifications include web development experience, proficiency with NodeJS and cloud-native technologies (AWS EC2, Fargate, CloudFront), HTTP server/proxy familiarity (HAProxy, NGINX, Apache), frontend technologies, automation, strong communication, and experience in media distribution or AI-driven software desirability. Educational requirement includes BS Computer Science or related discipline or its equivalent. The position is full-time and located in Bristol, CT or Burbank/Glendale, CA with in-person work expectations.
