Job Summary
Drive the evolution of the developer platform by analyzing and securing backend dependencies, leading major software release rollouts, and improving CI speed and code review turnaround. Spearhead AI integration within the platform lifecycle to accelerate development while establishing engineering standards for code quality and dependency hygiene. Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve conflicts and proactively monitor platform health, diagnosing complex issues before they become critical incidents. This role requires 5+ years of experience with Python, Go, and distributed systems, with a base pay range of $148,000–$222,000 USD. Located in Massachusetts, the position supports up to 10% travel for onboarding and industry events.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- strong computer science fundamentals

- comfortable reasoning about distributed systems
- comfortable reasoning about dependency graphs
- ability to move across the stack
- experience debugging a Python integration
- experience optimizing a Go service
- experience wiring up infrastructure automation
