Job Summary
Define architecture and tech stacks for single-page applications using Angular, TypeScript, and React. Gather requirements from stakeholders and collaborate with UX design to build architecturally compliant solutions. Implement RESTful APIs with NodeJS, NestJS, and Spring, while developing frameworks using Webpack and Babel. Execute test-driven development practices, including unit, component, and end-to-end testing with Jasmine, Jest, Selenium, and Cypress. Manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and maintain partnerships across the organization to support divisional initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent)
- Three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing SPAs on Cloud platforms using Angular in a financial environment
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent)
- One (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) developing SPAs on Cloud platforms using Angular in a financial environment
- Demonstrated Expertise designing and developing responsive and single page web applications in financial services domains, using Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, GraphQL, Node, CSS and HTML
- Demonstrated Expertise performing automation testing using Jasmine, Jest, and Karma
- Demonstrated Expertise performing unit, end-to-end, and regression tests using Selenium and Protractor
- Demonstrated Expertise building micro front-end Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) with accessibility (ARIA and WCAG), cross platform compatible
- Demonstrated Expertise performance testing using Axe DevTools, Lighthouse, Angular DevTools, and JavaScript patterns for asynchronous operations (Promises, callbacks, event loops, and RxJS)
- Demonstrated Expertise applying state management techniques using Angular Reactive Extensions (NgRx)
- Demonstrated Expertise reviewing and optimizing SQL queries for data efficiency
- Demonstrated Expertise developing RESTful APIs using Spring framework with Json Web Token (JWT), and AJAX for security and authentication
- Demonstrated Expertise preparing Junit test scripts and scalable micro services using Java and NodeJS
- Demonstrated Expertise integrating back end services with front-end applications
- Demonstrated Expertise developing Web applications using NX monorepo architecture and end-to-end testing by Cypress
- Demonstrated Expertise implementing microservice request using the Axios framework
- Demonstrated Expertise supporting UX design and development using Jira, Figma, and InVision
- Demonstrated Expertise developing and deploying services in Cloud environments (Amazon Web Service (AWS) or Azure) and supporting enterprise applications, using CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, SVN, Docker and Bitbucket
- Demonstrated Expertise maintaining code standards using code quality tools (Sonar and Veracode)
- Demonstrated Expertise debugging and troubleshooting using log monitoring tools (Splunk and Datadog)
- Demonstrated Expertise delivering high quality code using Test Driven Development (TDD) practices and Agile methodologies
