Job Summary
Senior Software Engineer on the Ads Delivery team designs and builds large-scale backend systems powering Koddi’s ad serving, optimization, and reporting pipelines. You’ll own projects end-to-end, collaborate with product, data science, and client delivery teams, and drive reliability, scalability, and developer experience under heavy data and traffic loads. You’ll mentor other engineers, experiment with new ideas in ad performance and optimization, and influence architecture and standards across the Ads organization. The role emphasizes delivering measurable results, collaborating across teams, and contributing to Koddi’s technical vision while working on high-impact, real-time systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or C family
- Experience with Apache Kafka or Apache Pulsar
- Backend services, APIs, and data pipelines experience
- Relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Redis, Aerospike)
- Cloud deployment/operating/monitoring (AWS or Azure)
- Distributed systems knowledge, concurrency, and performance optimization
- Version control and CI/CD workflows
- Mentor/lead engineers and improve technical quality
- Interest in learning emerging technologies
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Experience with real-time bidding, ad serving, or performance marketing platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent practical experience
- Contributions to scalable shared systems
